About THEIA^XR

THEIA^XRis a European project aiming to improve human-machine interaction in mobile machinery by enhancing extended reality technologies.

THEIA^XR will:

make the invisible visible respectively the non-perceivable perceivable to the human operator, extending the perceivable range of the operator without negatively influencing the performance of the human while controlling the machinery.
leverage a human-centered transdisciplinary and scenario-based co-design methodology with users, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary researchers as a fully integrated team.
demonstrate and validate the results in three use cases in the off-highway domain, targeting snow grooming, logistics, and construction scenarios, integrating real end-users, public/non-users, and real-life data from dedicated industrial environments.

THEIA^XR started on the 1st of January 2023 and will last 36 months.

Join our co-design team!

Do you regularly work with snow-groomers, reach stackers or excavators, whether in training, as a seasoned operator or as a trainer yourself? Then you bring exactly the knowledge we need. Become part of our team, support us in our research and in the design of useful technologies for the vehicle cabin. You can help us decide which ideas will be explored and developed. Simply participate in discussions and workshops online via our co-design platform. Of course, you will also receive some allowances for your support.
